Cupcake Meet 20 Check Presentation | Junior Achievement

Two weeks ago we made our way to the headquarters of Junior Achievement of Central Texas located right here in Austin to present our Cupcake Meet 20 donation check. Our check of $7,566.00 was received by Dave Swincher, President of Junior Achievement of Central Texas. We couldn’t think of a more deserving organization.

For those that don’t know, JA plays a direct role in educating our youth about financial literacy and entrepreneurship. The organization recruits community volunteers to come into schools grade K-12 to teach. These volunteers use their personal experiences to make the Junior Achievement curricula practical and realistic, providing children with positive adult role models, who illustrate ways to build self-confidence, develop skills and find avenues of success in our free enterprise system. They currently serve over 12,000 students in 21 counties including Austin ISD.

Thank you for allowing Cupcake Meet to help such a great organization. Thank you for the tremendous help and support of our Sponsors, Volunteers, Supporters, and Staff.
